Open College, which is a new form of international college, is being built on a metaverse platform developed by Learningsignal. In the metaverse context, international students take courses & exams and do scientific simulations & experiments (with VR technology), and meet their teachers/administrators at their convenience. The learning analytics module is sidelining with Open College curriculum at which international students are sought for a legitimate undergraduate degree from Korea. It recommends the best learning strategy for the students to follow and the best pedagogical helps for the professors. The academic administrators can make best data-centric decisions for planning and managing where the students/teachers are in need of college-level interventions.

This research introduces a first of its kind - VR MOOC LMS. The chemistry experiment VR content is running for the students, and a supervisor can monitor their learning performance and interaction behaviors. Our LMS system (local view, world view and multi-view user interfaces) for the VR MOOC system is expected to shed light on how the interactive VR learning content can be affiliated to the proper instructional design in the near future.

This research is a formalization study to design a systemized smart block configuration and a block connection pattern. The design examines the elements of the interaction between the smart blocks and users. As a result, the system generates more functional logic by identifying the relationship and interaction between blocks through programming.

In a virtual reality system, training equipment and standardized patients are substituted by 3d models and software reusability allow for a standardized education. Dentists set a high value on haptic stimuli(e.g., injection of needle and finger rest on teeth). However, the prevalent VR systems concentrate on the visual and auditory stimuli, not on the tactile stimuli. Therefore, this research focuses on providing realistic tactile stimuli for advanced VR simulator.

The nature of Design thinking is to implement the designer's mindset for solution-focused and action-oriented strategy. Our toolkit introduces the conception of the popular board game, with the contents such as journey maps, personas, user experience, trends, and functions, in the hope that this gamification factors help the game participants to create innovative concepts. Note that we borrow the concept from AI - the Turing Learning paradigm, where two AIs develop the data differentiation skills by randomly providing cheating data to one another, in order to enhance their differentiation skills.

Even though it is essential to the vehicle control process and vehicle evaluation, few studies take into account the human sensation and perception whilst driving. In this project, we will investigate the driver's perception of acceleration in driving simulators depends on human sensory factors such as optic flow (visual system), otolith stimulation (vestibular system), and vibration (somatosensory system). More importantly, and unlike previous research, it will explore the interaction between all three sensory modalities to find multisensory integration effects on the perception of acceleration.

We develop a new 2.5D interaction space with i) a touch-sensitive screen and ii) an over-the-top projector. In this project, we simply use two common projectors and two tracking devices to build up an elevated 2D space. In particular, employing the tracking devices allows real objects (user's hand, tray, cups or any other physical objects) to be interacted. More sophisticated interaction techniques will be developed in this project.

This project develops a visualization technique to reduce Human errors in the automotive assembly process, where many different types of vehicles are being made in a mixed production line. Most vehicles have different parts, so a greatest number of errors take place to find the right parts to the scheduled vehicle to assemble. However, workers in the factory tend to be easily disoriented with so many parts for so many different types of the vehicles, so many human-created errors have been reported.
